Interesting

It was very good if you are fairly new to making flash games.
It took me a great while to beat this... because of lack of direction. I spent at least a half hour trying to find the damn witch only to realize she was at the end of the zone I had travelled through a dozen times. And almost as long when trying to find the last step of the game in the castle. This probably could've been resolved with some more differentiated scenery or a "Quest Tracker".

Some suggestions:
1) God, there has to be some kind of Portal spell, a Horse or something to speed up transitions from zone to zone. This has to be the biggest complaint of anyone who plays this game is the time it takes to travel between places.
2) Unneeded Items/Speed Wealth: Before the second mission was over from the main quest, I had the best armor/shield and sword. And Fire Armor? There's not an enemy in the game who you'd need to get fire protection for, the little Gobuns or whatever throw the torches but thats it.
3) A Leveling system: This greatly helps keep players' attention and interest in the game as it gives them something to look forward to, like if you learned spells through leveling instead of purchase. Or new techniques like Whirlwind Attack or something along those lines.
4) More Developed Cutscenes: Even if you rely on someone else to make the cutscenes, it helps dramatically if they have a high level of detail. The two cutscenes in the game were very sub-par and used an almost identical art level as the gameplay.
5) Voice Acting: This is a huge step, I know, but don't underestimate the benefits of even semi-talented voice actors. It helps players feel more attached to characters and to the story itself. (Speaking of, if you intend on making a third, I'd be interested in assisting with voice-work, pm me if it is something that might interest you)

All in all, this was a great game all things considered, kept me sucked in for quite a while even in the irritating parts of wandering around.
Cheers.

Voice acting is a great idea, but the down-side to that is this: Sound is the one and only thing that DRASTICALLY increases file-size and therefore increases the loading time of a game. That's why I did not do it in this game. I'm not saying I wont do it in the future though, and I'll keep you in mind, but will probably use my friends or myself, because I really enjoy that too :)

Thanks for the review!

You got a lot of work to do.

Graphics: really plain. (last time i checked people didnt have rectangles for bodies ;D)
Style: Its Resi Evil, just remember to balance the blood and gore with good story and characters.
Sound: FF7 battle music huh? not bad.
Violence: /shrug its Resi Evil lol
Interactivity: As a game, it needs to be intriguing enough to keep the players interest but not overly complex or missing pieces to irritate them.
Humor: well, even in horror games you can squeeze in a little humor heh
