Disappointed.
LF... I've been a fan of your work for the longest time, but these past few submissions have been extremely under par from your usual work. It seems that you've foregone the humor that was once what made your flash so unique and enjoyable to improve on your animation. As with Egoraptor and several other flash artists, including your former self, it does not take great visuals to make a timeless classic flash video. I really hope you manage to re-discover the aspect of humor that once made your movies as epic and funny as they were.
awesome lol
Geno is the best... I hate they didn't incorporate him into more Mario games.
Love it.
Both of the "Dad" toons are hilariously random and flow smoothly while keeping true to its spontaneous nature. Excellent work.
Well, I havent written a review in quite some time
But I felt I wanted to give my input into this one. Your motion-capture skills with the animation are absolutely stunning and the way the lighting plays on the characters... it is something that, in time, I expect to rival the newgrounds master flash artists. The main complaints I have though is the fact that the episodes are a bit short, many things are unexplained (though I'm sure that it will be more clear as more episodes arrive) and lastly, while your characters' movements and motion appear nigh-flawless, their eyes stand out like glowing beacons, and their hair is rather indistinct. As an art student, I realized that people pay far too much attention to the eyes naturally, and thus we have to downplay them slightly in order to move the viewer's eye around to the rest of the body or picture. If you can manage to dull the intensity of the natural eyes (the freak with the chainsaw was fine, considering he had black eyes, it helped with his intensity) and if you can get the hair to appear slightly more distinct, then your animation will be quite formidable. In time, I expect you will be one of the greater of the newgrounds artists.
*hats off* Artist to artist.
Enjoyed it.
I haven't done a review in a good while. But...
Overall I think this was a good movie. The voice acting is superb and the character designs are very well done. However, the animation is extremely choppy despite the fact that I put the quality on Low and lowered most video settings; and I have a fairly new computer which runs 99.9% of all other submissions just fine so I doubt it's the system's fault. Aside from the laggy scenes, there were only two things that kept bugging me. 1: The Paladin's goatee seemed to have a mind of its own of when to appear and when not to. 2: During the Necromancer's monologue, the little strand of hair was dancing around way too much for the rest of his hair to be completely still as well as the Paladin's. But, like I said, all in all, good movie and looking forward to the conclusion.
Too overused...
Ashford makes the best PW's but there are plenty of others out there that are good as well, it just takes some originality and thought... I have seen that silver-haired guy do the roar at least a dozen times.. funny but nowhere near as funny as it was the first time.
Yea, well, you have to remember that when I did it, which was some considerable time ago, there were very few "Karma Screamers" around. I think the one I did was either two or three, can't remember. I am glad you're honest, though.
love it
liar liar is the best haha. I OBJECT, your honor! To yourself?
